Being a person that values my personal data and goes to extreme lengths at keeping my information private, Rita is a helpful tool that shines light on how your information has been mistreated and guides you on how to take control over your data. It's super useful and I highly recommend using this app!
Rita showed me where my data is! People don't know that Google and Facebook are just harvesters of data, there are many more companies that have it. Seeing my data and who has it was very educational.
Until Rita came along, I had no idea how many companies held my data, and how exactly I could go about revoking it. This is exactly what Rita does - It shines transparency in an opaque data world.

Peace of mind about your privacy
We know your data is a very sensitive issue. That is why we prepared a list of most commonly asked questions
We only store your login credentials, email and password (encrypted) and the date and time you create your account. These credentials are securely stored on our cloud partner, AWS.
The only data that leaves the app is the list of companies you shared data with. We need to have the list in order to search for the company’s email in our database. This allows us support you in sending Right to be Forgotten requests to companies.
By default, all your personal data is stored on your phone. If you decide to share your email address with us we store it on a Postgres server provided by AWS located in AWS “Euro data center hub”, Ireland.
