Privacy Policy for Rita Personal Data

At Rita Data BV, accessible at Ritapersonaldata.com, our main priority is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information that is collected and recorded by Rita Personal Data, how we use it and why. Our mission at Rita is to put you at the centre of control over your personal data. This is why your data is stored on your local device (mobile phone).

Protect your Privacy

All your Personal information is securely stored on your phone. If you decide to make a Rita Account or share your email with us for feedback - we will store your email address on our servers. Rita will never:

  • Share information with third-parties without your explicit consent.

  • Identify your close contacts

  • login credentials

  • Perform any action on your behalf other than the actions you request in the App (Get data, Delete data, Manage ads settings)

We always give you the freedom of choice:

Private is private. We honestly care about your privacy. Rita App is designed with maximum protection of your privacy in mind. Here is how:

  • Your personal data is stored on your device by default.

  • Independent specialists were consulted to give feedback on the design of our systems. When designing and throughout development.

  • The data you collect is encrypted.

  • Our foundational principles of Privacy by design were regularly consulted when developing the App and making architectural choices.

Children's Information

An important priority for us is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity. Rita Personal Data does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

List of companies shared with:

  • Purpose: Restrict Access Feature

  • We have built a database with email addresses of the Data Protection Officers of many companies. Our system needs to search for the company email in our database to support you in sending Right to be Forgotten requests to companies.

Location points Google:

  • Purpose: render your location into the Map

  • We use Google Maps API to visualise your location points.

Information about how the app is used:

  • Purpose: Restrict Access Feature

  • Purpose: See if the app is working correctly and building a product you love.

  • We track how many apps are downloaded and updated, how many data sources are requested by users of the app, how many users use our “control panel” in the app.

App Privacy Policy Only

This privacy policy applies only to our Mobile App activities and is valid for visitors to our Mobile App. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via our website.
